Kasenga Chisukulu is a singer and song writer of Zambian nationality who is popularly known as Ace Trap having being raised in Ndola as the hometown.
Acetrap was born on the 12/12/2003.
Acetrap first attended Anastasia Primary where he did his kindergarten. He later went to Sunbes Primary School where he learnt up to grade seven.
While still at Sunbes Primary School, Acetrap started being exposed to music through a friend. He first started rapping here then later transitioned to singing.
In grade 11, He recorded his first single which got him recognition in his then residence.
In just two years, Acetrap managed to release six songs all performing better than the previous records he had.
In 2020, Acetrap completed school from Kanini Secondary School and then decided to take music as a career and became a full time artist.
After graduating from Secondary School, He decided to take music more serious as he spent four years growing his singing and song writing skills
Later, Mr Kasenga Chisukulu managed to get himself a good studio setup and started recording and mixing songs with his brothers. This was the year he saw the most growth musically since he started dropping songs . His covers and freestyle videos would hit upwards of 20,000 views on each one of them . This was also the same year he got recognition from the likes of KB Killa Beats, Yo Maps and T Sean .
Before being recognized by many people, He participated in a number of music competitions and challenges winning most of them.
In 2021 he was one of the winners of the true story challenge hosted by T-Sean which got him major recognition and a feature with the artist (T-Sean).
In this same Year (2021), Acetrap’s potential and talent was recognised by a Malawian artist Namadingo after he posted a live video of him singing where Namadingo expressed happiness and commented with some positive & encouraging words.
Acetrap also participated in the kombola challenge hosted by Urban Hype where he won in the first position.
In 2022, Acetrap got signed by one of the Zambia’s biggest record label Headphone Music by Jay Rox.
