Towela Kaira is a female music artist from Zambia who’s sound can be defined as Afrocentric R&B or Afro beats and pop.
Her sound has been influenced by genres like Afro beats, Afro pop, reggae and soul music which have all come together to create her unique melodies and sound.
From a young age, Towela has been passionate about music and dreamed of one day dominating the music scene globally. Starting off as a backing vocalist, Towela did a lot of work behind the scenes to build her musical strengths before she eventually broke out as an independent artist.
Coming from a family of musicians and a lifetime of being surrounded by music, Towela has quickly risen to become a force to reckon with on the Zambian music scene. Her recent smash hit single video, Manana featuring Jemax, hit more than one million YouTube views within one month. A first for a female artist in Zambia.
